Why I write these guides

I have applied for international visas many, many times. My work takes me across continents, and every trip abroad means another application, another folder of bank statements, another cover letter written before a VFS appointment. After enough of them you stop guessing and start working from a checklist.

Visa Template exists because that process should not be guesswork. The guides on this site and the document bundle are the checklist I wish someone had handed me the first time.

Where these guides come from

I am an Indian passport holder, which shapes how everything here is written: the guides are aimed squarely at Indian applicants, with particular attention to those applying from Singapore. That is the process I know first-hand — VFS Global Singapore, IRAS Notices of Assessment, employment pass documentation, and the specific things that catch out applicants in that situation.

Every figure and requirement in the guides is checked against the official source it comes from, and those sources are linked inline so you can verify them yourself rather than taking my word for it.

What I am not

I am not an immigration lawyer, a licensed migration agent, or a consulate employee, and nothing on this site is legal or immigration advice. Everything here comes from two places: my own experience as a repeat applicant, and the published requirements of the consulates and official sources linked throughout the guides. Requirements vary by consulate, nationality, employment and residence status, and they change — always check the official consulate page for your destination before you submit.
